Travis Boak will be looking to replicate his best-on-ground Showdown performance from 2020 if recalled to face the Crows this weekend.

TRAVIS BOAK headlines a list of potential inclusions for Port Adelaide’s massive Showdown XLIX game against Adelaide on Saturday night.

Boak, who missed last weekend’s loss to Brisbane with a minor quad injury, has been cleared to resume and is available to return to the side.

The 32-year-old is a two-time Showdown Medallist and took home the honour in the most recent meeting between the sides in Round 2, 2020.

Travis Boak is the reigning Showdown Medallist.

Defender Riley Bonner could also come into the selection discussions after a strong first-up showing in the SANFL on his return from a hamstring injury.

The 24-year-old managed 24 disposals and a goal, along with eight marks, a tackle and two clearances in his first game since suffering the injury in the opening round of the AFL season.

Forward Kane Farrell was also impressive in the SANFL, finishing with 31 disposals, three tackles and two clearances spending more time on the ball, while Peter Ladhams was inaccurate in front of goal with 1.3 but also had 23 disposals, ten marks and 15 hit-outs.

Consistent defender Jarrod Lienert is also in the mix with another strong SANFL showing. The long-kicking backman was a travelling emergency with the AFL side and only returned to Adelaide on the morning of the game against the Eagles, but was prominent with 27 touches, ten marks and three tackles.

Port Adelaide will on Friday evening name its side to tackle the Crows, with the game getting underway at Adelaide Oval at 7:10pm ACST on Saturday.
