Wines was a clear standout for the Power in a tight contest under the roof at Marvel Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Finishing the day with a team-high 36 disposals – 18 of which were contested, 11 clearances, five tackles and adding a goal to the scoreboard, Wines secured the fans’ vote as their best on ground.

Claiming the maximum five votes for the eighth time this season gives Wines a handy lead on top of the Fans MG MVP leaderboard with only five rounds to go.

Runner up in the vote this week was exciting young forward Mitch Georgiades.

The 19-year old was the Power’s most successful source for goal against the Saints, kicking an equal career-high four goals in the match.

Rounding out the votes this week were Trent McKenzie (3rd), Karl Amon (5th) and Ryan Burton (5th).
