PORT ADELAIDE forward Connor Rozee has been charged by the Match Review Officer over an incident in which he made contact with an umpire in Saturday night’s Showdown L.

Rozee has been charged with making careless contact with umpire Justin Power during the third quarter of Port’s win over Adelaide.

The incident was assessed as careless contact and a $1500 sanction as a first offence, but Rozee can accept a $1000 fine with an early guilty plea.

Rozee was a bright spark on a less than impressive night for Port Adelaide, finishing with 16 disposals, two tackles and two clearances, as well as having three score involvements on a low-scoring night.
