Port Adelaide selected key position tall Chloe Gaunt with pick 48 in the 2024 AFLW Draft. The 19-year-old has developed through the Gold Coast Suns and Brisbane Lions academies and impressed in the standing and running vertical leap tests during the AFLW national combine.
The 182cm forward can pinch hit in the ruck and will present a strong target inside 50 – not requiring many opportunities to make an impact on the scoreboard. She made her AFLW debut in Round 2, owing to her hard work and perseverance to improve her craft. She played a total of seven games on the year and will look to continue to add to her games tally in 2026.

The Port Adelaide Football Club acknowledges the land on which we train and play, are based on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We respect their spiritual relationship with their country. We also acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of Australia and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living people today.
