Versatile midfielder/defender Molly Brooksby landed at Alberton as part of the Expansion U18 Talent Pathway Pre-Signing Period. Brooksby was named Norwood’s best first year player after a breakout season in the SANFLW in 2022, announcing herself ahead of her draft year as a solid prospect that will transition well into the AFLW system.
Described as a highly talented and naturally skilled footballer, the 20-year-old has a high football IQ and possesses the ability to use both sides of her body. A reliable teammate, she is known to make good decisions with ball in hand.
Making her debut in 2024, her talent was quickly recognised with a Rising Star nomination for her strong performances against Richmond and Carlton during Round 5. She carried this momentum into the 2025 season, playing every possible game and establishing herself as one of Port Adelaide's most reliable operators down back.
