Athletic defender Alissa Brook made her way to Alberton with the club’s second pick (pick 25 overall) in the 2023 AFLW Draft. She caught recruiters’ eye with an impressive showing at the AFLW Draft Combine, recording a 72-centimetre running vertical jump and 58-centimetre standing vertical jump.
Noted for her height and athleticism, Brook debuted in 2024 and has recorded ten senior games in her career thus far.
Claimed with the second overall pick in the AFLW Supplementary Draft, Jasmin Stewart joined Port Adelaide as a versatile midfielder with a lot of natural talent. The 26-year-old is a hard tackler and has the ability to win her own football.
A proud Jaru woman originally hailing from Western Australia, Stewart played 22 games for Fremantle before stepping away from football in April 2022 to focus on life outside of football. After leaving the AFLW, she returned to WAFLW club Claremont and was awarded the best on ground medal in her side’s winning grand final with 29 disposals and eight tackles. The skilful left-footer returned to elite sport with fresh drive, evident in her impressive 2023 season with the Power. Stewart played five games in 2025, contributing to some important wins.
Brook was informed she would not be offered a contract in 2026, bringing her time at Alberton to a close.
