Taken with Port Adelaide’s second pick in the 2023 AFLW Supplementary Draft (twelfth overall), Katelyn Pope is a zippy mid-forward that has already proved she has the skillset and resilience to compete at the elite level.

Known for her speed and running capacity, native South Australian Pope was signed by West Coast as an injury replacement player in 2021 and went on to play six senior games. Returning to her home state ahead of the 2023 season, she broke into the side in Round 3 (a win vs St Kilda) and went on to play the rest of the games that season.

A hard-working player that always looks out for her teammates, Pope had a successful 2025, playing in all 12 games of the campaign. She will look to take this consistency into the 2026 season.
