Jasmine Sowden was selected by Port Adelaide with pick 52 in the 2024 AFLW Draft. Growing up a Port Adelaide supporter, the small forward can also play in the midfield and averaged 20.7 disposals, 3.8 marks, six tackles and a goal a game during her time in the Coates Talent League.
Renowned for her skills on both sides of her body and her evasiveness, the 18-year-old earned an immediate AFLW call up. She quickly proved her value in Port Adelaide's up-and-coming squad, playing all but one game in the side's 2025 campaign and taking out the club's Best First Year Player at the 2025 Best & Fairest. Sowden will look to carry this strong momentum into her second season at the highest level.
