The Port Adelaide Female Talent Next Generation Academy runs in partnership with Woodville-West Torrens, Norwood, South Adelaide and West Adelaide.
This program works to develop high-quality female footballers for the future of elite football in Australia. Sessions take place fortnightly, where the participants are exposed to a high-performance football program.
The main aims of the Academy are to:
- Improve fundamental skills and understanding of AFLW training expectations
- Allow for greater game awareness
- Develop specific areas towards strength and conditioning
- Give participants the best opportunity to develop into a State or AFLW player
