BIO

Braedon Talbot was appointed assistant coach of Port Adelaide's AFLW side prior to the 2024 season, after spending a year as development coach.

Talbot balances coaching with a full-time as Head of Programs for Power Community Ltd., the not-for-profit charity arm of the club, which offers education programs that promote meaningful social change.

First getting a taste of coaching with the Reynella's women's program, Talbot later joined Glenelg's SANFLW side as assistant coach, helping guide them to a premiership in 2021.

A proud Larrakia and Wagiman man originally from Darwin, Talbot was the senior coach of Port Adelaide's Aboriginal AFL Academy for two years, and has a clear passion for working with First Nations youth.
