Experienced assistant coach Luke Webster joined the Port Adelaide coaching panel ahead of the 2026 AFL season, assuming responsibility for the backline.
A former West Australian State 18s captain, Webster's playing career was interrupted by four serious knee injuries, the first of them in 2000.
He recovered to play in the 2001 premiership with East Perth and also played 33 games with Fremantle. He was a development coach at Carlton and senior coach of the Northern Blues in 2013 and in 2015 joined the West Coast Eagles coaching staff.
Webster was forward line coach from 2019-23 before taking over the backline for the 2024 campaign.
He has also been a development coach and senior coach of the club's WAFL team in his time at the Eagles.
