THE SANFL has confirmed Port Adelaide’s game against West Adelaide at Loxton in May and its Round 9 bye as part of the latest fixture update to be released on Thursday night.

The game at Loxton Oval in Round 7 will be played as a tribute to the late club great Russell Ebert at a venue where he played much of his football before arriving in the SANFL.

Also confirmed is that Port will host North Adelaide at Alberton Oval from 1:10pm on Saturday 28 May – the day before the AFL side hosts Essendon at Adelaide Oval.

Round 10 will see the Magpies venture up to Elizabeth to tackle Central District in a stand-alone Saturday afternoon game, with the other two Round 10 matches to be played on the long-weekend Monday.

The SANFL fixture has been left as a floating fixture beyond Round 11 to allow for flexibility around the AFL scheduling.
