PORT ADELAIDE, in partnership with Red Bull and Fox Footy, will tomorrow night premiere Travis Boak: All too human, a documentary showcasing the remarkable on-field career of Travis Boak and his commitment to helping others off the field.

Travis Boak: All too human will screen on Fox Footy and Kayo Sports at 9.00pm (Adelaide time) and will be available to view on demand at portadelaidefc.com.au from Friday.

The documentary takes viewers through the highs and lows of Boak’s career, examines his insecurities and highlights the change in mindset that reignited his passion at the end of 2018.

Most significantly, the documentary reinforces the values that drives Boak to be the best he can as a human first and as an athlete second.

The documentary, directed by Pete Williams and produced in partnership with Red Bull, interviewed a dozen of Boak’s closest teammates, family and friends to better understand what inspires Port Adelaide’s most capped AFL player.

Daniel Norton, Port Adelaide GM – Media and Communications and Executive Producer of Travis Boak: All too human, says the documentary provides a rare insight as to what drives a champion athlete.

“Travis is an already highly respected figure within the game because of how he prepares and presents himself on the field as a scrupulously fair, humble champion,” Mr Norton said.

“But it’s what he does off the field that is truly enlightening. And it’s not just the hours of recovery and preparation Travis puts in to make himself better but the hours of voluntary time he puts in off the field to make other people’s lives better which is the true mark of his character.

“This is not a story about Travis the footballer, it’s bigger and more important than that. It’s a story about Travis the remarkable human, the loyal teammate, son, brother, friend and mentor.”
