Mitch Georgiades and Willem Drew have both undergone minor post-season surgery to prepare them for the 2027 AFL season.

Georgiades had a shoulder arthroscopy to clean out the AC joint and relieve discomfort he has experienced throughout the year.

Drew underwent a planta fascia release after having the same procedure on the opposite foot during the 2025 pre-season.

Both players are expected to begin running in the next fortnight, with minimal interruption to their off-season.

The club's 1-4 year players will commence pre-season on Monday, 9 November, while the 5+ year players return two weeks later.
