IN: Burgoyne, McEntee

OUT: Bonner (omitted), Mead (omitted)

PORT ADELAIDE has made two changes to its side to face Geelong at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Coming into the side is small forward Jed McEntee, while Jase Burgoyne moves to the starting 22 after being the unused medical substitute in the clash with Melbourne in Alice Springs last weekend.

Former mid-season draftee McEntee has four AFL games under his belt this season and has been building strong form in the SANFL since, averaging 15.7 possessions and 5.7 tackles in his previous three games.

Burgoyne has emerged as an exciting prospect across halfback after breaking through for his AFL debut against Fremantle in Round 16 and impressing with his ball use and composure. He returns after one week as the sub.

Running defender Riley Bonner and young midfielder Jackson Mead have both been omitted from the side that fell to the Demons in the heart of the country, and are listed amongst the emergencies to take on the Cats.

Joining them on the emergency list is Xavier Duursma and Trent McKenzie. The medical substitute will be named from that quartet an hour before first bounce on Saturday.

Action against Geelong gets underway from 4:05pm ACST this Saturday, 23 July at Adelaide Oval.
