MIDFIELDER Connor Rozee will be available to face Essendon on Sunday after being cleared of a serious knee injury.

Rozee left the field in the second term of the loss to Richmond at the weekend after injuring his right knee but returned after half time and played out the game.

The 22-year-old pulled up well and scans on Monday showed no significant structural damage.

The season is over for defender Tom Clurey who will have a clean-out of his right knee in the coming days.

Clurey had a similar procedure after reporting swelling in the knee in March. He is expected to recover in time to complete a full pre-season.

Forward Todd Marshall is expected to be available to face the Bombers this week after missing the game against the Tigers under the health and safety protocols.

Port Adelaide will on Thursday evening name an extended side to take on Essendon at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.

The squad will be trimmed to the match-day 22 on Friday afternoon.
