SAM Powell-Pepper has claimed the Fans MG MVP for his determined performance against Collingwood, with his gutsy on-ground efforts earning him the honours for Round 2.

The reigning MG MVP winner for 2022 has seemingly carried on his career-best form, catching the eye of the fans for his hard style of play and desperate second efforts.

The bullish forward recorded 21 disposals to go along with four kicks and 356 metres gained. He also had a team-high nine score involvements in what was a disappointing outing for the Power.

Powell-Pepper claims the maximum five votes for Round 2, moving him up into equal second on the MG MVP Leaderboard. Young talent Connor Rozee currently sits on top, taking the early overall lead.

Sharpshooter Charlie Dixon came runner-up in the Round 2 voting, finishing the game with 14 disposals and a team-high three goals.

Dixon kicked the opening goal of the match and quickly added a second, making the most of his opportunity in front of goal. He earned another opportunity to score just after the long break, making no mistake to slot his third of the day.

Rounding out the votes this week were silky operator Connor Rozee, dominant defender Aliir Aliir and midfield maestro Ollie Wines.

Port Adelaide now shifts its focus to its Round 3 match up with Adelaide. Tickets are still available.
