Junior Rioli and Todd Marshall are expected to return for Yartapuulti’s Round 11 match against Richmond this Sunday.

Small forward Rioli has completed his two-game suspension, while Marshall will have his final concussion test on Friday to be cleared to play.

After a makeshift forward line got the job done against Narrm last week, the skillful duo will add further firepower to the side.

Both Travis Boak (ribs) and Charlie Dixon (quad) will be tested this week to determine their fitness for selection.

With midfield spots hard to come by in a stacked Yartapuulti list, young Jackson Mead could be promoted from tactical substitute to starting 22, if Boak fails to make it through training this week.

Meanwhile, captain Tom Jonas is preparing for a week on the sidelines after being handed a one-match ban for rough conduct.

After playing forward last weekend, Ryan Burton could slot straight into Jonas’s backline spot, however if Burton is required forward again, experienced defender Tom Clurey may be set for an AFL comeback.

Clurey has enjoyed a strong run of form in the SANFL of late, pleading his case for selection at the top level.

Scott Lycett returned to the side in Round 10 and was solid against daunting duo Max Gawn and Brodie Grundy, while young tall Ollie Lord slotted two goals in a bid to retain his place in the side.

Yartapuulti will name its extended squad for Sunday’s Round 11 match against the Tigers on Thursday evening at 5:50pm ACST, with the final team to be announced at 4:30pm ACST Friday.
