PORT ADELAIDE has made four changes ahead of its trip to Perth to take on West Coast this Friday night.

Tall forwards Ashleigh Saint and Indy Tahau are both ineligible for selection, with Saint serving a one-match ban, while Tahau ended her season early with a ruptured ACL last Saturday.

Lily Johnson and Jade Halfpenny will come into the side, with both players being given their first opportunity of the season, after taking the field a combined eight times last year.

Perth products Maggie MacLachlan and Jade De Melo have been added to the starting 21, taking the places of Sachi Syme and Yasmin Duursma.

De Melo can float between the wing and the forward line, with the 30-year-old very handy around goals, while defender MacLachlan will bring her trademark booming kick out of the backline.

Sachi Syme, Jasmine Simmons and Litonya Cockatoo-Motlap have been named emergencies.

The Power are hoping to seal its second win, while the Eagles are hunting for the club’s first victory of the 2023 NAB AFLW season.

Friday’s game gets under way at 8:45pm ACST / 7:15 WST and can be watched live on Channel 7, Fox Footy and Kayo.
