PORT ADELAIDE has named a 33-man squad for Friday night’s final SANFL pre-season trial game against South Adelaide.

The side is a mixture of 11 AFL-listed and 22 SANFL contracted players.

Impressive showings by new recruit Jordon Sweet and forward Mitch Georgiades in last week’s hit-out against North Adelaide have seen them included in an extended AFL side so they drop out of the line-up, but there will still be plenty of experience around captain Nick Moore - particularly from Trent McKenzie and Tom Clurey.

Tall forward Tom Scully has been named after a minor knee injury saw him come off early last week.

AFL emergencies not required for Sunday’s game in Melbourne against Richmond will also be able to feature for the Magpies.

Friday night’s trial game at Alberton Oval will get underway at 6:15pm with the match to be played across five periods.

There is free admission for all patrons.

The best way to take in the game is from the Precinct, with limited bookings available for dinner.
