Port Adelaide will kick off its AFLW season at home with a clash against Fremantle.
The AFL on Friday released the 2025 NAB AFLW fixture, which for Port Adelaide includes six home games at Alberton, including a season opener on Sunday, August 17, two primetime blockbusters under lights, and a first official meeting with Melbourne.
Two of the games at Alberton – against the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn will be night games – while the remaining home games against Fremantle, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Geelong will be played in family friendly timeslots.
AFLW Indigenous Round will be played over Rounds 3 and 4 when Port Adelaide will don a special guernsey designed by Gavin Wanganeen, while Pride Round will be celebrated over Rounds 9 and 10, the first time it’s spanned across two weeks.
The Power will come up against Adelaide in a Friday night Showdown blockbuster during Round 11 on Friday, October 24 at Norwood Oval.
For the first time in the competition’s milestone 10th season, teams will play a 12-game NAB AFLW home and away season, followed by four weeks of finals, commencing two weeks earlier than previous years to coincide with Round 23 and 24 of the AFL season.
The club's final Round of the home-and-away season, an away game against GWS, is yet to be fixtured but will played on a date between Thursday, 30 October and Sunday, 2 November.
