Port Adelaide has locked in its squad for Sunday’s pre-season practice match against Collingwood at Alberton Oval.

The match will adhere to standard AFLW rules, with free entry for fans keen to catch the action live from Alberton.

Rising Star and Mark of the Year winner Matilda Scholz will take the field, while supporters will be excited to see defender Indy Tahau in just her second game back against opposition since returning from a long-term knee injury, and co-vice-captain Julia Teakle in her first hit-out for the season.

New recruit Ella Heads has been named, along with draftees Lily Paterson, Chloe Gaunt, and Jasmine Sowden, who will all feature in their first official pre-season hit out. Injury replacement player Coby Morgan has been named on the interchange.

Key defender Tegan Germech and midfielder Abbey Dowrick are unavailable for selection after entering concussion protocols following separate incidents during last weekend’s trial game against Adelaide.

The Power last faced Collingwood in Round 7 at Alberton in 2024, clinching an eight-point win.

Sunday’s match begins at 1:30pm ACDT / 2:00pm AEDT and will be streamed live on portadelaidefc.com.au.
