IN: Hammond 28

OUT: Lamb 35 (injured)

Yartapuulti has announced its team for Sunday’s clash with Waalitj Marawar in Perth, with defender Cheyenne Hammond named for an anticipated return from injury.

The crafty 27-year-old has overcome a pre-season foot injury and been named on the interchange, with her outside speed and versatility a valuable addition to the Power’s side. Hammond will line up alongside Ebony O’Dea, Ella Heads, Katelyn Pope, and Lily Paterson.

Fresh off a standout Round 3 performance that included four goals and 15 disposals, proud Yindjibarndi woman Gemma Houghton will again lead the forward line in her hometown of Perth, joined by Indy Tahau, who impressed with three majors in last week’s win over the SUNS.

The team will once again proudly wear a guernsey designed by past player Gavin Wanganeen, featuring a striking hand-painted artwork inspired by First Nations people’s connection to the Milky Way.

The Power will face the Eagles from 3:05pm AWST (4:35pm ACST) on Sunday, with the match broadcast live on Fox Footy, Kayo, and Binge from 3pm AWST.
