Port Adelaide’s Piper Window has entered concussion protocols following a head knock sustained during the team’s Round 9 clash against Brisbane.
Scans have since revealed a cheekbone injury, with the midfielder undergoing successful surgery in Brisbane on Sunday. Her return-to-play timeline will be determined in the coming days.
Kirsty Lamb will also miss Friday night’s game against Hawthorn as she continues to manage calf soreness that developed during training last week.
Meanwhile, Abbey Dowrick will be assessed ahead of Round 10 after missing the Lions clash with a quad injury, while Coby Morgan is available for selection after recovering from a concussion.
Port Adelaide will host its annual Pride Round clash against Hawthorn under lights this Friday night from 6:45pm ACDT at Alberton Oval. Tickets are on sale now.
