Port Adelaide will audition four players across the supplemental selection period, with two AFL list spots currently vacant for 2026.

Jaidyn Stephenson, Mitch Zadow, Balyn O’Brien, and Blake Oudshoorn-Bennier have begun training with the playing group, putting their best foot forward for an AFL opportunity.

Former Collingwood and North Melbourne player Stephenson is hoping to resurrect his AFL career after retiring at the end of 2024 with 122 games to his name.

Selected at pick six in the 2018 national draft, Stephenson’s natural football talent and smarts around goals saw him earn the league’s Rising Star award in his debut season.

He spent the 2025 season at Ferntree Gully Football Club, where he won the club’s best and fairest and leading goal kicker awards.

East Fremantle product Zadow is another mature-age prospect, with the forward playing 21 matches at WAFL level over the past two seasons.

The 21-year-old slotted 18 goals in 14 senior appearances for the Sharks last season including a dozen in his last six games.

O’Brien and Oudshoorn-Bennier were both part of South Australia’s under 18 championship winning team this year, playing every possible game for the side.

Boasting a tough and desperate defensive style, 18-year-old O’Brien earned his league debut for Norwood in 2025, making six appearances at SANFL level.

Young midfielder Oudshoorn-Bennier averaged 26 disposals, four tackles and four clearances in the under 18s for North Adelaide this year and was named joint winner of the McCallum-Tomkins Medal for the best and fairest player in the league.

The pre-season supplemental selection period runs through until February 20, 2026.
