Dear members, supporters and partners,
Before reflecting on the year that was, I want to acknowledge the tragic events at Bondi Beach this week. Our thoughts remain with the victims, their families, and the Jewish community. As a club that takes pride in our multicultural programs and diverse community, we stand united against hatred and violence in all its forms.
On behalf of everyone at the Port Adelaide Football Club, I want to sincerely thank you for your unwavering support throughout 2025.
This year has tested us but as we enter the Christmas break, I’m proud to reflect on what we’ve achieved together;
- Record-breaking membership of 78,023 – a testament to your passion and loyalty. This 9% year-on-year growth highlights the strength of our community, thank you!
- All historical debt cleared - Thanks to the hard work of our players and staff, and the support of our members, partners and stakeholders, we enter 2026 with a strong financial platform to advance the next stage of our commercial growth strategy.
- Stage 4 of our Alberton Oval redevelopment is progressing well - the Allan Scott Headquarters AFLW facilities and eastern stands on track for completion in mid-2026.
- The Precinct at Alberton upstairs bar and kitchen re-opened – we’ve listened to you our members and reinvented this space for our community to connect, including a new menu with plenty of pub classics
- A renewed AFL football program under senior coach Josh Carr and GM Football Ben Rutten, building the foundation for our next AFL Premiership.
- Our AFLW team’s capability clearly evident in the 2nd half of the season - I know already how determined our group is for 2026.
- Power Community Limited delivering impact - more than 600 workshops and engaging over 60,000 people across metropolitan, regional and remote South Australia, with expanded programs in the Northern Territory.
None of this would be possible without you – our members, our commercial and community partners, and everyone who supports our club.
I also thank our Board and the members of our numerous sub-committees for their dedicated work throughout the year. These volunteer positions are filled by highly skilled and experienced people who give their valuable time to ensure our club continues to thrive.
As we head into the Christmas period, our players, coaches, staff and volunteers have earned a well-deserved break to refresh and recharge for what promises to be an exciting 2026.
On behalf of everyone at the Port Adelaide Football Club, have a safe and happy Christmas with family and friends.
We Are Port Adelaide.
