Port Adelaide has announced the squads for its annual internal trial, with the White and Black Teams set to go head-to-head at Alberton Oval on Friday night.

Senior coach Josh Carr will pit two evenly splits teams against one another in his first competitive hit-out at the helm, with the structure of the match consisting of four 30-minute quarters, with seven-minute quarter-time breaks and a 12-minute halftime break.

Port will go into the match with nearly a full list of players to choose from, with Sam Powell-Pepper (knee), Tom Cochrane (hamstring) and Ivan Soldo (knee) the only players currently on the Power's injury list, while defender Kane Farrell (illness) was a late withdrawal from the intraclub due to illness. Corey Durdin, who copped a sprig to the foot on Wednesday during training, also won't partake.

Mitch Georgiades and Zak Butters will also not take part due to their AFL Origin commitments in Perth, while Jason Horne-Francis will complete a block of conditioning prior to the match before serving as the runner for the night as he builds towards participating in the match simulation versus Adelaide at Alberton Oval next Friday night.

Post-match, the full squad will be available for a signing session, while there will be a range of activities for the entire family at the ground.

Gates open at 4pm, with action getting underway from 5pm. The match will also be live streamed on the club website.

Please note, teams are subject to change throughout the evening at the coaches' discretion.
