Port Adelaide is pleased to welcome Mayfield Childcare as a principal partner across its AFL and AFLW programs.
The partnership will see Mayfield Childcare become the official childcare partner of the Power, in addition to securing the naming rights to the popular ‘Kids Zone’ on game day, with the dedicated space for young fans and families to enjoy on match day set to continue in 2026.
Mayfield Childcare provides early learning and care for families across South Australia, Queensland and Victoria, operating 45 centres across the three states. In South Australia, it’s centres operate under the Precious Cargo brand.
Known as innovators within the industry, earlier this year Mayfield launched the pilot phase of Mayfield 360, introducing a speech pathologist working directly with children within its centres.
The initiative provides families with early access to specialist support, reinforcing Mayfield’s commitment to improving outcomes for children through early intervention.
Matthew Richardson said the partnership aligned strongly with the club’s commitment to families and the next generation of supporters.
“Welcoming Mayfield Childcare as a principal partner is a fantastic outcome for our club and our community,” Mr Richardson said.
“Families are such an important part of the Port Adelaide community, and having a partner that is deeply invested in supporting children and parents aligns strongly with our values as a club.
“The Kids Zone has become a popular part of the match day experience for families attending our games, and we’re excited to work with Mayfield to continue enhancing that space and creating memorable experiences for our youngest fans.
“Through the partnership Port Adelaide members will be entitled to 15 per cent off at Mayfield Childcare centres across the state, and we’re delighted that we’re able to give back to the people that support the club through this new partnership.”
Mayfield Chief Executive Officer Daniel Stone said that they are proud to partner with a club that values community, connection and the next generation.
“We’re incredibly proud to partner with Port Adelaide, a club that plays such an important role in the South Australian community,” Mr Stone said.
“Supporting families and creating positive environments for children is at the heart of what we do at Mayfield Childcare, so partnering with a club that values community, connection and the next generation of supporters is a natural fit.
“With our Precious Cargo centres in South Australia, this partnership allows us to connect with even more local families.”
