Port Adelaide will go into Saturday’s huge Anzac Day clash against Geelong with an unchanged team.

After a thrilling, three-point loss against Hawthorn last weekend and no fresh injuries, Josh Carr has elected to go in with the same group.

This will be the 22nd consecutive Anzac Appeal Round in which Port Adelaide has hosted a game, with the club boasting a long and important relationship with the Australian Defence Force.

More than 160 players from the club, past and present, have served in the armed forces, while the club’s charity arm, Power Community Ltd., facilitates two programs to support ADF veterans and their families.

Port Adelaide will wear a special guernsey to mark the round, celebrating 125 years of the Royal Australian Navy, while members of the ADF will be involved in a plethora of game day activities.

The Peter Badcoe VC Medal will be awarded post-game by a five-person judging panel to the player that best demonstrates the Anzac spirit, with qualities of skill, courage in adversity, self-sacrifice, teamwork and fair play.

The last time Port Adelaide played Geelong was at GMHBA Stadium in Round 21 last year, with the Power succumbing to a heavy loss.

Saturday’s game will begin at 6:05pm Adelaide time, and the match will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.
