Port Adelaide has made two changes ahead of Saturday afternoon’s clash with Sydney at Alberton, with two inaugural club players set to reach significant milestones. 

Captain Justine Mules-Robinson will run out for her 100th game at the top level, while Abbey Dowrick will reach her 50th game. 

Mules-Robinson reaches the milestone having played 49 games for Adelaide before joining Port Adelaide as part of its inaugural AFLW side in 2022. 

A three-time premiership player, the 31-year-old is a foundation player who has been part of the side’s leadership group since its inception, before becoming vice-captain in 2024 and captain in 2025. 

Dowrick will bring up her 50th game at just 23 years of age, having started her AFLW career in 2022 and quickly built a reputation as a composed, consistent and tough midfielder. 

A talented footballer from a young age, the Western Australian product arrived at Port Adelaide as a versatile young player who had already tasted senior football with Subiaco in the WAFL and Woodville-West Torrens in the SANFL. 

She has since developed an impressive list of accolades, including an AFLW Rising Star runner-up finish, an All-Australian nomination, a club best and fairest and selection in the AFLPA’s 22under22 team. 

Mules-Robinson will mark her 100th game in the forward line, while Dowrick will again line up in the midfield alongside Shineah Goody, Cheyenne Hammond, Matilda Scholz, Ash Woodland and Kirsty Lamb. 

Meanwhile, Lucy Boyd is set to make her club debut, with the versatile utility named in defence after joining the Power from West Coast during the 2025 trade period.  

The 19-year-old will line up alongside housemate Sophie Eaton, and defender Molly Brooksby at half back.  

Lauren Young will also return to the forward line after being managed last week, while Olivia Crane has been omitted.
