ANGUS MONFRIES will miss around two weeks with a minor calf strain.

The veteran midfielder sustained the injury early in Port Adelaide’s 128-point win over West Adelaide last Sunday.

If he meets the two-week turnaround, he would only miss one game, with Port Adelaide’s Sturt match this weekend falling during a split round.

That would have him in the mix to face Woodville-West Torrens at Woodville on Saturday 1 July, according to Darren Burgess.

“Scans showed some minor damage for Gussy, which is really disappointing for him given his form.

“We reckon it’s about two weeks for him.”

Port Adelaide injury list as of Wednesday 14 May

Aidyn Johnson – hip (assess)
Angus Monfries – calf (2 weeks)
Karl Amon – knee (2-3 weeks)
