IN: E Ratugolea 27, T Anastasopoulos 29, W Lorenz 36
OUT: M Bergman 14 (injured), J Wehr 15 (omitted), J Lai 43 (concussion protocols)

Yartapuulti forward Tom Anastasopoulos is among three ins for Friday night’s clash against Gold Coast in Darwin.

Anastasopoulos has earned his debut after some strong weeks for the Magpies, highlighted by last weekend’s 22 disposal, three-goal effort in a thrilling five-point win over Central District.

The 20-year-old comes in alongside Esava Ratugolea and Will Lorenz, with Ratugolea promoted from a week in the SANFL after returning from a knee injury.

Young midfielder Lorenz will make his first appearance at AFL level this year, joining housemate and fellow 2023 draft class member Anastasopoulos.

Lorenz has also enjoyed a strong start to the SANFL season, averaging 30 disposals, 8.2 marks and 4.8 clearances from six games.

Miles Bergman and Josh Lai have come out of the side with injury and concussion respectively, while Jacob Wehr has been omitted.

The Power will mark Sir Doug Nicholls Round with a special First Nations guernsey designed by Kaurna elder and past player Uncle Mickey Kumatpi O’Brien.

Uncle Mickey's design reflects the meaning of Yartapuulti – with ‘Yarta’ translating to place or land, and ‘Puulti’ meaning sleep or death – bringing to life the significance of the area through traditional Kaurna storytelling.

The last time Yartapuulti played Gold Coast was in Round 24 at Adelaide Oval, with the home side clinching an exciting four-point win.

Friday’s game will begin at 7:40pm Adelaide time, and the match will be broadcast live to SA on Fox Footy, Channel 7 and Kayo.
