IN: T Marshall 4, J Wehr 15, J Lai 43
OUT: L Jones 34 (concussion), W Lorenz 36, D Visentini 38 (omitted)

Yartapuulti has made three changes ahead of its Sir Doug Nicholls Round game against Carlton on Saturday night, as Zak Butters marks his 150th AFL appearance.

The acting captain has been in blazing form to start the season, showing exactly why he’s one of the competition’s most exciting midfielders.

Drafted at pick 12 in 2018, Butters has gone on to earn two All-Australian blazers, three John Cahill Medals, and polled third in the 2023 Brownlow Medal count and claimed the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year in the same year.

Todd Marshall returns to the lineup after a solid SANFL outing, while Josh Lai has been cleared from concussion protocols.

Jacob Wehr has also been named after being an emergency against Gold Coast in Darwin last Friday.

Will Lorenz and Dante Visentini have both been omitted and defender Lachie Jones entered concussion protocols during last week’s game.

Small forward Tom Anastasopoulos has kept his spot, with the 20-year-old collecting 16 disposals and three marks on debut last week.

The Power will again mark Sir Doug Nicholls Round with a special First Nations guernsey designed by Kaurna elder and past player Uncle Mickey Kumatpi O’Brien.

Uncle Mickey's design reflects the meaning of Yartapuulti – with ‘Yarta’ translating to place or land, and ‘Puulti’ meaning sleep or death – bringing to life the significance of the area through traditional Kaurna storytelling.

The last time Yartapuulti played the Blues was in Round 23 at Marvel Stadium, with Carlton running away to a 54-point win.

Saturday’s game will begin at 7:05pm Adelaide time, and the match will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.
