Sam Powell-Pepper will make his long-awaited return to football, just over 11 months since injuring his ACL at the Gabba. 

The beloved, resilient forward will return for the SANFL Showdown after sustaining two serious knee injuries in as many seasons. 

Fellow AFL-listed players Todd Marshall, Tom Cochrane and Harrison Ramm have been added to the Magpies’ side this week after being omitted from the AFL. 

Tough midfielder Nick Moore returns after a week off with groin soreness, while Michael Cavallaro, Kyan Smith and Kye Roberts have been named. 

The last time the two teams met, Port Adelaide broke its SANFL Showdown drought, downing the Crows by 20 points. 

Port Adelaide will host Adelaide at Adelaide Oval from 3:10pm on Saturday afternoon.
