Port Adelaide will again be led by captain Justine Mules-Robinson for the 2026 NAB AFLW season, supported by co-vice-captains Amelie Borg and Sachi Syme, with Julia Teakle, Ella Heads and Maria Moloney completing the club's leadership group.

Following an impressive first season as captain in 2025, Mules-Robinson has once again earned the trust of her teammates through the player-led voting process.

A foundation player and integral part of Port Adelaide's AFLW journey since the club's inaugural season, Mules-Robinson has become renowned for her relentless work ethic, selflessness and unwavering commitment to her teammates.

Borg retains her position as co-vice-captain after an outstanding first year in the role, while Syme joins the leadership group for the first time after continuing to establish herself as one of the club's emerging leaders.

Teakle, Heads and Moloney round out the six-player leadership group, recognised for the influence they have across the playing group and the standards they consistently set on and off the field.

Mules-Robinson said she was honoured to continue leading the club alongside such a respected group of teammates.

"To captain this football club again is something I'm incredibly grateful for," Mules-Robinson said.

"We've got such a driven and connected group, and I'm excited to continue building on what we started last season, supported by a fresh coaching group led by Glenn (Strachan).

"Amelie has been fantastic in the vice-captaincy role, and it's exciting to have Sachi step into that position as well. They're both outstanding leaders in different ways.

"Julia, Ella and Maria bring so much to our group, and I know we'll continue to challenge each other and our teammates to keep improving every day."

Port Adelaide Head of AFLW Dan Merrett said the club was thrilled to see Mules-Robinson continue in the captaincy.

"Justine has continued to demonstrate the qualities that make a great leader," Merrett said.

"She leads through her actions; puts the team first in everything she does and has earned enormous respect across our football program.

"She did an outstanding job in her first year as captain, and we're excited to see her continue leading our group into the 2026 season.

"Amelie has grown tremendously as a leader over the past 12 months and has been an excellent support to Justine, while Sachi has developed into a player who consistently drives standards and brings others with her.

"Julia, Ella and Maria all have unique leadership strengths and play an important role in shaping the culture of our program. Together, this group provides outstanding leadership for our group.”

Port Adelaide will open its 2026 NAB AFLW season against Fremantle on Sunday, 16 August in Perth, with its first home game against Hawthorn set for Sunday, 23 August at 2:35pm at Alberton Oval.
