Port Adelaide defender Logan Evans will undergo shoulder surgery this week, ending his 2026 season.
Evans has struggled with shoulder discomfort following a subluxation incident earlier in the season, with the decision made to end his year early to best prepare him for 2027.
Kane Farrell also won't return to play this year as he rehabs an ongoing groin issue, while Joe Richards is expected to return inside the next three weeks after having his fractured finger repaired.
Jack Lukosius is consulting a knee surgeon to further investigate the underlying cause of the baker's cyst at the back of his knee, which has been causing ongoing discomfort.
Zak Butters is progressing well in early ankle rehab and is still hopeful of a late season return to football.
Port Adelaide will name its team for Round 21 on Thursday at 5:50pm.
