Port Adelaide has made two changes to its team to host GWS on Saturday night as Willem Drew celebrates his 150th AFL game.
A picture of resilience, Drew experienced ongoing foot issues throughout his early years, managing just 10 AFL games in his first four seasons at the club.
Since overcoming his injury troubles, he’s gone on to become a leader at the Power and three-time recipient of the Fos Williams Medal, voted by his teammates for the best team man.
The acting captain has been a consistent, hardworking force during his tenure at Alberton, with his 150th career game also being his 139th consecutive match.
Harrison Ramm and Will Lorenz both come into the AFL side to replace Logan Evans (injured) and Brandon Zerk-Thatcher (omitted).
Towering teenager Ramm comes in for just his fourth AFL game, while third-year player Lorenz has been added for his 10th AFL appearance.
Zerk-Thatcher has been included in the emergencies alongside Tom Anastasopoulos and former Giant Jacob Wehr.
The Power last played the Giants in Round 13 last year in Canberra, with Port Adelaide clinching a 16-point win.
Saturday’s game will begin at 6:05pm Adelaide time, and the match will be broadcast live to SA on Channel 7, Fox Footy and Kayo.
