Port Adelaide forward Ellie Hampson will miss the opening rounds of the 2026 NAB AFLW season after sustaining a hip injury late in the pre-season.

The former premiership Lion is progressing well through her rehabilitation, with her return-to-play timeline expected to become clearer over the coming weeks.

Jemma Charity will unfortunately miss the 2026 season after rupturing her anterior cruciate ligament earlier this year. The 20-year-old has since undergone successful reconstruction surgery and is progressing well through her rehabilitation.

The Power will open its 2026 NAB AFLW campaign against Fremantle in Perth on Saturday, August 16, with the first bounce at 2:05pm ACST.
