Zak Butters has topped Port Adelaide’s vote count at Monday evening’s Brownlow Medal event.
The midfielder finished with 26 votes, placing =8th in the overall count despite missing the final six games of the home and away season.
It takes his career vote tally to 109, continuing a strong run of Brownlow recognition across his career.
Young star Jason Horne-Francis also polled strongly, earning the maximum three votes against Geelong in Round 7 (34 disposals, 12 clearances), North Melbourne in Round 17 (24 disposals and a goal) and the Giants in Round 21 (29 disposals and a goal).
His 22 votes on the night surpassed his previous career-high of 19, set in 2024.
Jordon Sweet earned his first career vote following a standout display against Brody Grundy and the Swans, with Joe Richards and Jase Burgoyne also polling for the first time following dominant outings against Fremantle and Essendon, respectively.
