FANS will be forced to make alternate travel plans to the MCG this weekend, with Yarra Park closed for both matches.

In an attempt to maintain the condition of surrounding parks, there will be no parking available for Saturday's Richmond-Port Adelaide match and Sunday's Geelong-Hawthorn clash.

The MCC is estimating a crowd of 39,000 on Saturday and 50,000 to attend on Sunday.

Limited parking will be available for disability permit holders in the Punt Road Oval car park via Gate 6 off Punt Road.

A travelers Aid shuttle service will operate between the Punt Road Oval car park and also Federation Square.

After recent public transport disruptions, the bulk of services will be returning to normal from this weekend. Fans are advised to check services via Public Transport Victoria.
