SAM POWELL-PEPPER has accepted his two sanctions from Saturday's thrilling five-point Showdown win.

Powell-Pepper was cited for misconduct against Adelaide's Matthew Crouch, and for engaging in a wrestle with the same player - Crouch was also cited for the same incident.

Port Adelaide's China opponents, the Gold Coast Suns will be without defender Sam Day who accepted a one-match ban for striking Melbourne's Neville Jetta.

Gold Coast could also be without co-captain Steven May who has been sent straight to the tribunal for making intentional contact with an umpire, with a decision on his availability to be made this evening. 

Steven May, Gold Coast Suns, has been charged with making intentional contact with umpire David Harris during the second quarter of the Round Eight match between the Gold Coast Suns and Melbourne, played at the Gabba on Saturday May 12, 2018. 

Intentional contact with an umpire is a direct referral to the Tribunal and no early plea is available to the player.
