PORT ADELAIDE senior assistant coach Michael Voss will team up with Sydney premiership coach John Longmire to help guide the All Stars in the bushfire relief State of Origin match.

Voss will be joined as assistant coach of the All Stars by Gold Coast senior coach Stuart Dew, GWS assistant Mark McVeigh, Western Bulldogs assistant Joel Corey and Sydney assistant Dean Cox.

The Victorian team will be led by Richmond premiership coach Damien Hardwick, four-time premiership coach Alastair Clarkson, Richmond assistant Adam Kingsley, Gold Coast assistant Dean Solomon and Collingwood assistant Robert Harvey.

Richmond’s Dustin Martin was unveiled on Monday morning as the first player picked for Victoria in the State of Origin clash, with the remainder of the squads to be announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Every club will have representation during the bushfire relief clash at Marvel Stadium on Friday 28 February, with a minimum of one player from each AFL team donning the ‘Big V’ or All Stars strip.

The league has scrapped the three-player rule from each club - with some teams expecting to have up to five representatives - to allow for more star power.

All money raised on the night will go to bushfire-affected communities and it comes on the back of a $2.5m donation from the AFL, the clubs and the AFL Players Association, with $1m provided directly to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund, and the further $1.5m kickstarting a Community Relief Fund for grassroots facilities.

The event will be a double-header at Marvel Stadium, starting with Collingwood v Melbourne in a NAB AFL Women's match followed by the State of Origin clash, which will be broadcast on Channel Seven, Fox Footy, the AFL Live Official App, Kayo and various radio partners.
