PORT ADELAIDE will visit The Parade in Round 1 next year when it takes on Norwood in the now traditional Friday night encounter between the two old rivals to start the SANFL season.

Both the Magpies and Redlegs will be managed by new coaches Garry Hocking and Ben Warren respectively.

It will also be the first time Port Adelaide's available overflow AFL players will exclusively play for its SANFL League team.

The League match will commence at 7:40pm on Friday 4 April and run concurrently with another night clash at Glenelg Oval between Glenelg and Sturt.

The new-look Magpies Academy team will play Norwood's Reserves at 4:55pm prior to the League clash.

Woodville-West Torrens and Central District (at Woodville Oval), North Adelaide and the Crows (at Prospect) and South and West (at Noarlunga) will play other games during Round 1.
