Butters was outstanding on Saturday afternoon against the Bombers, collecting a career best 36 disposals.

ZAK Butters has taken out the fans’ vote as best on ground in the Power’s 54-point win over the Bombers at Adelaide Oval.

Butters was a clear standout on Saturday afternoon, in what was arguably the best performance of his 38-game career to date.

The 20-year old found plenty of the ball, finishing the day with a career-high 36 disposals, running at an impressive 86% disposal efficiency.

He also notched up six clearances, six tackles and added a goal to the scoreboard. 

Butters leaps to top position of the Fans MG MVP leaderboard after claiming the maximum five-points for Round 2.

Mitch Georgiades came second in the weekly voting, with his performance against the Bombers impressing fans.

Despite coming into the side as a late change for Todd Marshall (back soreness), Georgiades didn’t look out of place, making his presence known up forward, kicking a career-best four goals.

The young forward also had 13 disposals, eight marks and seven score involvements.

Rounding out the votes this week was Ollie Wines (3rd), Dan Houston (4th) and Charlie Dixon (5th). 

This week the Power heads west, taking on the Eagles at Optus Stadium in a Saturday evening clash.
