A former basketballer, Jacob Moss joined Port Adelaide’s list as a category B rookie in 2025. Standing at an imposing 198cm tall, Moss decided against playing college basketball in the US to instead pursue an AFL career. Having previously played junior football with West Adelaide, Moss has been identified as a player who will develop well in a professional AFL environment.
Noted for his athleticism athletic and strength in the air, Moss boasts an excellent running vertical jump and a huge amount of upside. The 20-year-old trained has been training with Port Adelaide since 2024 and has featured a number of times at SANFL level.
At the conclusion of the 2026 season, Moss was informed he would not be offered a contract - closing out his time at Port Adelaide.
