With a number of years in the system now under his belt, Miles Bergman is as a player with elite athleticism, breakaway power, high marking and long kicking.
The Covid impacted 2020 SANFL season, followed by a string of bad luck with injury and illness, meant that the start of Bergman's career had been somewhat of a slow burn. However, the athletic and versatile half-back flanker has quickly since established himself as one of Port Adelaide's up-and-coming talents, showcasing his composure, versatility and explosiveness throughout a breakout 2023 season.
The rising star recently inked a contract extension locking in his future at Alberton, with his improvement in 2023 recognised with the Coaches' Award at the club's best and fairest evening and selection in the AFLPA's 22under22 team.
