Jed McEntee arrived at Port Adelaide after being selected with the 13th pick in the 2021 AFL mid-season draft from Sturt. Known for his forward pressure and tackling intensity, McEntee soon after made his club debut and slotted nicely into Port Adelaide’s forward line.

He recorded five on-field appearances in 2025 – kicking five goals – and making an impact in the forward half.

McEntee's contract was not renewed at the conclusion of the 2025 season, bringing his time at Alberton to an end.
