Jed McEntee arrived at Port Adelaide after being selected with the 13th pick in the 2021 AFL mid-season draft from Sturt. McEntee impressed with his time at the Double Blues, claiming the Cec May Best Emerging Talent Award in 2020 after playing every game that season.
He made his debut for the club in 2021, and has since gone on to earn consistent game time in the side's best 22. He recorded 22 on-field appearances in 23 and kicked 19 goals, a testament to his consistency and forward pressure.
A fierce midfielder who loves the contested side of football, McEntee has now proved his value in a competitive Port Adelaide side and will look to continue building his game.
