Port Adelaide can confirm Jed McEntee has not received a playing contract for 2026.
McEntee was taken by the club in the 2021 mid-season draft from Sturt, and went on to play 52 AFL games, including 22 in a breakout 2023 season.
As a small pressure forward, the 24-year-old kicked 31 AFL goals in his time at Alberton.
List manager Jason Cripps thanked McEntee for his four-and-a-half seasons in black, white and teal.
“Jed has played some important on-field roles for us during his time at the club,” Cripps said.
“He was always committed to the program and we saw him grow as a player over the past few years.
“Jed is a great person and we wish him the best of luck for his future.”
McEntee is one of six players to not be offered a contract for 2026, following Ryan Burton, Jeremy Finlayson, Dylan Williams, Hugh Jackson and Lachie Charleson.
