Former Port Adelaide SANFL captain Nick Moore will continue his football journey at a new club in 2027.
Moore spent five seasons at Port Adelaide, making 72 appearances and kicking 44 goals.
He was appointed captain ahead of the 2024 season, following a career-best year where he earned the A.R. McLean Medal for the best and fairest Magpies player.
The 27-year-old wore the number one guernsey for two seasons and led with his on-field actions, consistently demonstrating his toughness and hunger for the footy.
Port Adelaide’s head of SANFL Paul Stewart thanked Moore for his contribution to the club.
“Nick has been a great addition to our club over the past five years,” Stewart said.
“He has been a valued member of the group, bringing his natural on-field tenacity and quiet leadership style. We wish Nick the very best of luck with this opportunity to grow further at a new club.”
“As a leadership and coaching group, we are continuing to add talent and depth to our SANFL list over this period, and look forward to making some exciting player announcements in the coming weeks.”
