Speedy defender Logan Evans was selected by Port Adelaide with pick 12 in the 2024 mid-season rookie draft. He immediately impressed with his ability to read the ball and compete aerially, as well as his clean hands and smart ball use.
Evans made his AFL debut shortly after his mid-season selection, making his first senior appearance against Brisbane in 2024 where he recorded 20 disposals and 424 metres gained. He went on to play every remaining game in Port Adelaide’s 2024 campaign, capped off with a Rising Star nomination in Round 24.
Having announced himself as one of Port Adelaide’s most promising young stars, and with a number of senior games under his belt, Evans will continue to develop his game and put no limit on what he can achieve.
